About
Amy Kelley, Owner & Founder of Pyrazine Wine
Amy is a certified sommelier through the National Wine School (Level III), and founded Pyrazine Wine to make wine an accessible, unintimidating, and fun experience. From weddings and family celebrations to casual nights at home, wine is often a part of some of life’s most enjoyable and memorable experiences.
A pyrazine (pronounced peer-a-zeen) is a compound in wine that gives it a signature, herbaceous note. Pyrazine Wine is dedicated to helping others identify their “signature” wine, individual wine preferences, and expanding their wine knowledge.
Amy has worked in the banking industry for over a decade, and has found a second career in wine consulting and education. She is passionate about helping others achieve their wine dreams. Whether it’s hosting a wine tasting event, helping you stock your cellar, or organizing your company’s next team building event, we are here to help.
In addition to holding a Level III sommelier certification, Amy holds a bachelor’s degree in history from Columbia University and a master’s degree in public policy from Georgetown University.
Pyrazine Wine, LLC is based in Washington, D.C.
